Prepare key balance sheet and income statement accounting entries with accuracy
Compile and analyze account information, explain variances, and offer insights
Maintain general accounting records
Perform complex reconciliations and research/identify variances timely
Assist with month-end close processes and deliverables
Analyze financial data to uncover trends, explain fluctuations, and support strategic decisions.
Work closely with FCCI’s IT team on validation testing and data enhancement projects.

Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance
Two or more years of professional accounting experience
Advanced Excel skills (formulas, functions, large datasets)
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
Hands-on experience with general ledger software, MS Office, and financial systems
Solid background preparing financial statements and account reconciliations
Able to communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally
Motivated to tackle tasks independently and a love of learning
Ability to analyze financial data and solve accounting problems
Ability to interpret complex IT reports, data flows, and sources
Understanding of commercial insurance concepts, terminology, and regulations
Strong ability to prioritize and juggle multiple deadlines
