Own the day-to-day financial operations of a scaling law firm.
Manage accounts receivable, executing payment runs, maintaining financial records.
Ensure the Head of finance has clean, accurate data to work with.
Chase overdue invoices and draft the monthly billing run.
Oversee the maintaining of the bookkeeping ledger to prep data for VAT returns.
Retain strategic oversight, sign-off authority, and all sensitive financial decisions.

2–4 years' experience in a finance, bookkeeping or accounts role.
Demonstrated experience managing invoicing, AP/AR processes and reconciliations.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Comfortable with modern accounting systems (Xero preferred).
Experience supporting month-end close processes.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines without fail.
Proactive approach to resolving discrepancies.
Clear written and verbal communication
you'll be the day-to-day finance contact for internal teams and external clients.
High integrity and discretion with financial data.
Willingness to own a process fully once it's been handed over.
AI curious and proficient.
Preferred experience in:
Experience within a law firm or professional services environment (client billing, WIP tracking, disbursements).
Experience integrating finance systems with operational tools (e.g., practice management software syncing with accounting platforms).
Scale-up business experience.
Studying towards or holding a finance or accounting qualification (AAT, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA, or equivalent)
