Role Overview

Support day-to-day accounting activities and bring core accounting work in-house.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
Perform timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
Manage customer invoicing and apply payments.
Process vendor invoices and execute payments.
Support month-end and year-end close activities.
Maintain fixed asset schedules and record depreciation.
Assist with sales tax and payroll tax filings.
Prepare schedules and documentation for audits.
Identify and recommend process improvements for accounting tasks.

Requirements

2–3+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
Experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Hands-on exposure to accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll accounting, and close processes.
Intermediate proficiency in Excel and experience working with accounting systems.
Familiarity with accounting tools such as Zoho, QuickBooks, Bill.com, or Ramp is a plus.
