Update NASTAD’s prevention-focused communication platforms such as the Prevention team’s microsite and the health department prevention directory.
Work directly with health department staff to collect important data.
Assist in the implementation of workplan activities, such as updating and maintaining prevention
and surveillance-focused directories and microsites, as well as promoting webinars, tools, and other resources to relevant stakeholders.
Strengthen HIV prevention and surveillance knowledge through cross-team collaboration.
Reinforce the progress of technical assistance activities by facilitating timely and effective communication with internal and external partners.
Other duties and special projects as assigned

In process of receiving bachelor’s or master’s degree in public health, health science, or other relevant area of study
Some office experience (including volunteering) working within public health, health care or relevant fields preferred
Strong writing skills
Strong presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills
Ability to work with diverse populations
Ability to multitask while maintaining strong attention to detail
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications as well as email marking tools such as MailChimp
Basic knowledge of HIV, STIs and/or other communicable disease, including stigma-related issues
