Role Overview
- Provide services as an independent, self-employed professional under a formal independent contractor agreement.
- Support the design and coordination of cutting-edge data center projects across the U.S.
- Responsible for modeling, designing power distribution, security and life systems, standby generators and UPS systems,
- Performing calculations, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring design accuracy using advanced BIM and electrical engineering tools.
- Collaborate closely with other disciplines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment,
- Contribute to the full project lifecycle from schematic design through execution.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering
- Proven expertise as an electrical engineer
- Written and spoken English B1 and higher
- Experience in electrical design for industrial, residential, and commercial sectors, in medium voltage and low voltage distribution, lighting, grounding and lightning protection
- Experience in various electrical modeling software
- Hands-on experience using tools and software such as Revit Autodesk – is a must
- Experience in working on projects in a multidisciplinary environment
- Deep knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
- Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize accordingly while meeting project deadlines
- Self-starters that are ambitious and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
- Excellent communication skills.
