About this role
Role Overview
Owning and delivering a qualified pipeline target, not just activity metrics
Defining and executing account-focused outbound strategy (who, why now, why us)
Identifying and prioritising high-value accounts and real buying signals
Engaging senior stakeholders (CTO, Head of Engineering, IT leadership) with relevant, tailored outreach
Converting cold outreach into meaningful commercial conversations, not just meetings
Working closely with leadership to shape messaging, positioning, and campaigns
Continuously improving outbound performance through testing, insight, and iteration
Maintaining a clean, structured pipeline with clear next steps and conversion logic
Challenging assumptions, bringing ideas, and raising the standard of outbound across the business
Requirements
6+ years in B2B business development (tech/services preferred)
Proven track record of generating qualified pipeline
Comfortable selling into technical audiences
Strong commercial judgement you know what’s worth pursuing
Clear, confident communication (written and verbal)
Ability to work independently and own your number
Experience with modern outbound tools and workflows
High standards. You care about quality, not just activity
