Role Overview
- Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
- Pushing bank feeds
- Managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Processing monthly/quarterly GST/PST/Payroll remittances
- Supporting senior accounting technicians with full cycle bookkeeping tasks
Requirements
- 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- Working towards your Canadian CPA Designation
- Self-motivated, collaboratively focused
- A willingness to constantly learn
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong technical accounting skills and understanding
- Tech Savvy (Experience using QuickBooks Online and/or Xero cloud accounting software an asset)
- Experience with data analysis, financial statement analysis, financial planning, and reporting an asset.
- Experience in Canadian sales tax (GST,HST,PST etc.) is an asset
