Role Overview
- Providing over the phone interpretation services.
- Imparting thought, purpose, spirit, emotions, and tone of speakers from source language into target language. (Spanish-English language pair).
- Complying with applicable ethics and standards
- Be aware of the specific vocabulary of the industry the interpreter works with (healthcare and medical one, specifically).
Requirements
- Bilingual English-Spanish: a B2/C1 level
- A valid US identification and current residency in the US are required
- Experience in the interpretation and good knowledge of medical / legal terminology is a plus
- Computer: Windows 10 or newer, with Pentium, or I3 processor. Minimum: Core 2 Duo 2.1 GHz / Recommended: i5 / i7 2.4 GHz and above. It should have a 4 GB RAM Minimum (8GB recommended).
- Stable and fast internet connection (Wi-Fi is not allowed). Internet speed of 4Mbps Download/Upload.
- A noise canceling wired USB Headset
- Willingness to learn and grow both professionally and personally.
