Conduct comprehensive remote physiotherapy assessments and treatment sessions via our digital platform, ensuring a seamless patient experience
Assess and diagnose a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, provide evidence-based treatment strategies, and guide patients through rehabilitation programs
Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, including consultation notes and referrals, ensuring compliance with DCA policies and protocols, clinical governance and data protection standards.
Signposting patients to the most appropriate services or care settings
Work closely within a large, multidisciplinary team that includes GPs, ACPs and non-clinical professionals to provide integrated patient care
Adhere to DCA’s regulatory standards, clinical guidelines, and best practices to ensure the highest standard of care in a digital healthcare environment
Implement provisions related to Mental Health Legislation (Mental Health Act 2007, Mental Capacity Act 2005) in accordance with legislative requirements, Codes of Practice, and national guidance
Identifying potential vulnerable patients, recognizing signs of abuse or neglect, and completing safeguarding referrals in accordance with local and national policies
Requirements
HCPC Registered Physiotherapist
Minimum of three years experience in Physiotherapy within an MSK service in Primary Care or General Practice, working at Level 7 or above
Valid IR(ME)R certificate valid within the last 3 years
Up-to-date knowledge of national prescribing policies and guidelines, and an understanding of working within the scope of professional practice.(Desirable)
Knowledge of clinical governance principles as applied to remote working and digital healthcare.(Desirable)
Proficiency with clinical IT systems (ideally with Jira and Teams/Slack)
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage deadlines
Commitment to patient-centred care and ongoing professional development
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to proficiently document patient consultations according to organizational policy and national guidelines
Ability to recognize individual learning needs and actively seek professional development opportunities in line with local and national frameworks (e.g., HCPC revalidation requirements)
Ability to act as a professional role model, demonstrating organizational values and behaviours
Skill in sharing knowledge and evidence-based insights to support team development and quality care (Desirable)
Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders (Desirable)
