Responsible for the globalization of the instant messaging (IM) product across both app and web portal, and for developing product strategies aligned with business goals.
Create and maintain the IM product roadmap, milestones, and backlog, aligning with strategic priorities for product penetration in various overseas markets.
Drive global product and feature launches; lead beta programs by defining product specifications and collaborating with designers, engineers, and business stakeholders.
Collect and consolidate customer feedback and facilitate user studies to build products that reflect customers’ needs and requirements.
Conduct market research and analyze regional data, working closely with overseas and local operations teams to deliver market-fit solutions.
Facilitate communication with cross-functional teams overseas to coordinate project progress.
Requirements
Proven experience in launching and managing large-scale, global instant messaging (IM) products, with a strong track record of successful outcomes.
5+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated technical expertise.
Skilled in identifying customer needs, running prototypes and iterations, and making data-driven decisions to optimize products.
Solid understanding of IM products and user scenarios, with the ability to drive product improvements and growth across the company.
Strong ability to define clear, concise product requirements and collaborate effectively with engineering teams to deliver on specifications.
Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Comfortable managing multiple projects and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to ensure on-time delivery and execution.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to drive product adoption and market success.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin is required to effectively coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
