About this role
Role Overview
- Develop and maintain framework components and features for our three-tier application platform
- Ensure and continuously improve installability, portability, scalability and serviceability of our products
- Deliver reusable application components that help the organization monitor and manage our backend services
- Ensure consistency in how our framework is used
- Maintain and further develop framework components, such as the Application Server Framework and Kubernetes Framework
- Conduct software design and architecture reviews to evaluate and refine designs
- Work with both local and international product teams
- Provide 3rd-level support for complex customer issues
- Ensure regular reporting regarding status and progress
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
- Several years of experience as a software developer
- Strong expertise in at least 3 of the following technologies: Jakarta Enterprise, Kubernetes, Docker, Java SE, Go, JBoss, WildFly, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, Networking Infrastructure, Prometheus, JMeter, Grafana, Dynatrace
- Enthusiasm for modern technologies
- Experience in software design, planning and concept development
- Fluent German (required) and very good English skills
