About this role
Role Overview
Contribute to the design of a dedicated AD / Entra ID security service offering: propose a standardized evaluation / audit procedure (optionally tool-supported)
Build a project approach and a target framework adapted to the client's context and maturity
Provide technical expertise during remediation phases
Propose methods to evaluate remediation progress and KPIs for security governance
Perform technology watch for the team, acting as the technical reference for AD / Entra ID developments
Design and maintain a repository of best practices for securing AD
Stay informed about the ecosystem of commercial (and non-commercial) products addressing AD / Entra ID security
Analyze the impact of published security alerts and vulnerabilities on a day-to-day basis (in coordination with the Blue and Red Teams)
Publish blog posts on technical developments and AD / Entra ID security (best effort)
Requirements
Degree from an engineering school or equivalent university qualification
At least 5 years' experience in advanced administration and securing AD / Entra ID
Required technical skills: advanced Active Directory administration/expertise: consolidation, migration, backup/restore, functional level upgrades, ancillary services such as PKI, LAPS, etc.
PowerShell, WSUS/SCCM, Intune
Entra ID administration: ADSync, dynamic groups, conditional access
Hands-on experience hardening Active Directory
Knowledge of AD hardening: best practices (e.g., ANSSI), Microsoft security models (Tiering, Enterprise Access Model), tools involved in AD security (PingCastle, Tenable, vulnerability scanners, etc.)
Curious, autonomous, pragmatic, able to explain technical concepts clearly and to persuade assertively
