Entry level knowledge within the Electrical Engineering discipline with the capabilities and the initiative to perform tasks with supervisory/mentor assistance as required
Ability to learn technical skills and assist with low & medium power distribution design and layout
Become familiar with and assist with substation design, short circuit analysis, and ARC flash studies
Assist with development of wiring diagrams and schematics
Assist with electrical calculations including short circuit, load flow, arc flash, motor starting, harmonic, device coordination, and voltage drop
Design conduit, cable tray, and underground duct bank
Verify field conditions as needed
Learn P&ID development
Become familiar with instrumentation selection and specifications
Assist with instrument loop diagrams, location plans, and installations details
Learn the development of sequence of operation and functional description documents
Requirements
Bachelor of Science Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
0-3 Years of experience working as an Electrical Engineer
Must be well organized and able to prioritize work
Ability to set and track goals
Ability to multi-task and work on more than one project at a time
Able to commit to and meet project deadlines
Driven to provide outstanding service to both external and internal customers
Willing to take ownership of work through project completion
Must be able to work in the US now and in the future without sponsorship
