Innovate within complexity: The energy industry has dense business rules. Your role is to translate that complexity into robust, high-performance backend services while staying ahead on innovation.
Impact at an international level: Although you will develop exclusively for the French market, you will not work in isolation. You will collaborate closely with the Core team (based in London) that defines the overall architecture and codebase best practices.
Sharing and collaboration 🌍: You will take part in ongoing exchanges with developers from the group's other countries. Code sharing is the norm: you reuse what works elsewhere and contribute back to the common foundation.
Own your projects end-to-end: From kick-off to architecture, from implementation to monitoring on Datadog, you will drive change and be accountable for the quality of your code.
Requirements
Solid fundamentals in Python: This is our core language. Your mastery of backend concepts, your problem-solving skills, and your comfort with typed Python will make a difference.
Django framework: Strong experience with the Django framework for designing robust, scalable backend architectures.
An eye for architecture: You are curious to deepen a Layered Architecture approach to decouple business logic from the framework and ensure maintainability.
Handling dense business logic: You can translate demanding workflows into reliable technical solutions (REST/GraphQL/SOAP APIs, background tasks with Celery).
Willingness to work in a global codebase: You will join a monorepo shared by over 50 developers across 6 countries. This requires consistency and offers real opportunities for knowledge sharing.
Curiosity about GraphQL: Our API is built almost exclusively on this technology. You are eager to use it to build elegant, high-performance interfaces.
Rigor and kindness: For us, code review is a collaborative, constructive moment where technical excellence lifts everyone up.
Working English: Ability to communicate with the Core team and document your code for international peers.
