Develop total solution based concepts and strategies to meet segment End User needs based upon our core technologies and partner technologies, existing and undeveloped
Look beyond physical security solutions and define operational ROI solutions for the segment
Develop concise and focused solutions and strategies across all sub-segments of the Education vertical (Higher Ed, K-12, private institutions, etc.)
Maintain and grow End User relationships with solution based focus built upon the strategic objectives and business initiatives
Develop and provide guidance for key ADP teaming relationships
Expand key vertical based NSI relationships
Key partnering with 3rd tier solution products pertinent to Education vertical
Work closely with Industry Association groups and participate in Education Committees in an effort to network, help build the association’s membership and drive technology standards and guidance through these committees based upon Axis’ core competencies
Exhibit and speak at Education specific marketing events
Manage Education prime integrator and Global Solution Integrator relationships
Public speaking and press opportunities/engagements
Government and Industry Association regulation and Strategy Guidance for the Education sector
Provide Education segments guidance for marketing publications
Product technology and solution guidance to the Americas and Globally specific to Education needs and initiatives
Management of Education technology directives relevant to Axis products
Pricing guidance to the Sales Organization on complex, politically driven Education bills, policies, projects and initiatives
Provide monthly reporting on opportunities and efforts to Management
Identify new markets and innovative solutions in the Education space within and outside of physical security for IP devices and solutions developed by Axis and its partners
Requirements
7+ years’ experience as Security Professional within the Education space, Industry Consultant, or working with a Security Products Manufacturer or Integrator that specialize in IT based Enterprise Solutions for the Education vertical
Public Speaking, participation on IT Professional boards/associations and Press/PR experience, ideally in the Education space.
Established professional EU and partner network within the IT industry and Education segment
Expertise in IT solutions, IT System architecture and IP based enterprise security and IP based operational solutions (enhancing business operations, efficiency and customer experience)
Experience with and on association boards for standards in Education IP based solutions
Multiple years developing business and business channels for Enterprise IT solutions and programs to the Education segment and its sub-segments
Strong knowledge of applying total IT and IoT solutions to solve segment customer needs and developing program to train sales force and channel how to position and win business.
Strong past work history and relationships within security and IT professionals’ groups. Ideally, in the Education sector
Enterprise Sales Skills (SPIN, Miller Heiman, etc)
Strong Technical Skills
Strong Leadership and or Coaching skills and training
Knowledge of Marketing avenues, specific to vertical
Contract review and interpretation
