Lead the engineering team to identify team level milestones and deliverables (against Program level targets) identifying the critical path and dependencies within engineering teams and between engineering and other teams such as Product, Industrial Design, Science, Software and Supply Chain.
Scope work and inform program-level milestones including launch targets
Interface with hardware engineering leadership both to provide program reporting and receive strategic guidance.
Collaborate effectively with other PMO colleagues and program leaders across the company.
Proactively address issues and obstacles that may impact program timelines. Unblock the engineering team, escalating as necessary. Identify how to accelerate when needed
Lead NPI build activities. Ensure product maturity and launch readiness throughout Prototype, EVT, DVT, PVT builds and validation.
Drive third parties to deliver against Statements of Work, when applicable for the program
Contribute to BOM creation and technical specifications
Drive engineering risk analysis and mitigation planning
Plan program resourcing together with Hardware team leads
Oversee engineering change management
Be an advocate for program excellence, keeping the team focused on what is necessary to deliver on time and in scope
