About this role
Role Overview
- Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs in Go that power web and mobile clients
- Build and evolve high-traffic, user-facing pages ensuring fast load times, excellent usability, and SEO best practices
- Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver new features end-to-end
- Improve system performance, monitoring, and developer experience across the stack
- Drive technical design, code quality, and architectural improvements through RFCs and reviews
- Implement A/B tests and rollout strategies for new features
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all user-facing APIs and systems
- Review code, mentor teammates, and contribute to technical interviews
Requirements
- Significant experience designing and implementing full stack applications
- Strong experience with backend programming languages (Go preferred)
- Solid frontend experience with JavaScript, modern HTML/CSS, and utility-first CSS frameworks such as Tailwind
- Solid understanding of API design, data modeling, and distributed systems
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and event-driven architectures (e.g., gRPC)
- Clean, modular, and maintainable code writing skills
- Ability to balance technical debt and business priorities in fast-paced environments
- Independent, goal-oriented, and collaborative with cross-functional teams
- Excellent English skills and located in one of the European time zones
- Formal education in Computer Science or related field
