About this role
Role Overview
- Model development: Design, implement, and train state-of-the-art ML models, with a focus on computer vision and sensor fusion
- Data infrastructure: Design and build scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines for real-time processing of multimodal sensor data
- Platform management: Optimize our central data lake/warehouse to ensure data availability, quality, and security
- MLOps & integration: Strategically advance automated pipelines for seamless integration of models into our CI/CD systems
- For senior profiles: Take technical ownership of the entire intelligence ecosystem
Requirements
- Completed Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Solid professional experience (approx. 4–8 years) in developing deep learning models and in data engineering
- Several years of proven success designing and operating large-scale, mission-critical ML systems (for senior-level candidates)
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL
- Deep knowledge of PyTorch and data tools such as Spark or Databricks
- Fluent in English and German
