Monitor and support the LeoLabs global radar network, ensuring radar availability, high-quality sensor data, and real-time situational awareness.
Take restorative action when anomalies arise and escalate issues quickly and accurately.
Detect and respond to potential physical and cyber threats affecting radar operations.
Help build the future of the ROC, including designing processes, developing playbooks, defining critical monitoring points, and identifying opportunities for automation and growth.
Support special operational events (e.g., LEOP) and assist with remote support for maintenance activities.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across engineering, software, and global radar operations.
Requirements
B.S. or M.S. in a STEM field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
Experience in an operational environment such as a Network Operations Center (NOC), mission control, or similar
Background in incident management, with the ability to triage and escalate anomalous activity
Experience documenting and logging daily and off-nominal events
Ability to perform metric analysis and correlate data to system behavior
Experience creating or maintaining operations processes and procedures
Ability to read/understand Python scripts and work confidently in a command-line interface
General understanding of RF principles and modulation
Willingness to work a flexible and variable schedule (24/7 operations)
