Designs/codes applications following specifications using the appropriate tools
Maintains and modifies existing applications on their own as well as under direction from senior team members
Performs maintenance programming for existing codebase
Performs custom programming as directed
Assumes responsibility for ongoing development of assigned tasks
Works with project lead and quality assurance through completion of tasks

4+ years’ experience of quality software development
3+ years’ experience developing PHP/MySQL-based applications
Familiarity working within Model/View/Controller software architecture
Familiarity working within a version control system
Implementation of varied API and Web Services through the use of REST/XML
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to other technical staff members
Ability to interface well with professional service staff and other non-technical members of the organization
Knowledge of Jira is a plus
Knowledge of Git is a plus
Knowledge of Laravel framework is a plus
Knowledge of React Native is a plus
Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, or related fields.
