About this role
Role Overview
Serve as the CIPT project lead ensuring disciplined execution and collaboration across Digital Controls engineering teams.
Monitors project plans, schedules, and budgets for projects.
Identifies , develops, and gathers necessary resources to ensure project completion.
Manages all aspects of an engineering project and program.
Works with Engineering Managers to allocate Engineering and Certification resources.
Drives strategic program planning and assigns tasks to ensure business targets are met.
Conducts IPD meetings and prepares reports to effectively communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team.
Identifies and reacts to complex project problems and recommends solutions, such as reallocating resources, and assisting resolution development.
Oversees and coordinates the administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines.
Supports the preparation of external proposals, internal work statement quotations and terms/conditions of contracts.
Reviews project and budget status manages schedules and prepares reports.
Monitors and assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives .
Meets program schedules and budgets and maintains the integrated master schedules for project(s).
Requirements
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
Product Life Cycle Knowledge including Systems, Hardware, Software, and Mechanical disciplines.
Experience working within DO-254 and DO-178 certification program(s), including Stages of Involvement (SOI) Audits under EASA or FAA
Experience working on NPI (New Product Introduction) projects.
Experience with resource loading, identifying and resolving over-allocations and resource reporting in MS Project
Experience with cost and schedule integration, supported by a solid understanding of project management theory and concepts.
Experience leading to the development of complicated systems
Proficiency level skills with Microsoft Project and MS Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills, solid computer proficiency with the ability to quickly learn new tools and software, and excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
