Pitch stories and build journalist relationships.
Draft press materials and coordinate launches and announcements.
Support reputation monitoring and issue-response planning.
Generate meaningful coverage consistently and measure outcomes beyond vanity mentions.
Build and maintain relationships with relevant journalists, editors, and producers across business, tech, local services, logistics, and consumer marketplace media.
Develop and refine Muvr’s public narrative, including draft and polish press releases and media pitches.
Coordinate launch readiness with Marketing, Partnerships, Operations, and leadership teams.
Monitor press mentions, social chatter, and brand sentiment, and flag reputational risks early.
Track PR performance and maintain a weekly PR dashboard and monthly summary for leadership.
Requirements
3 to 6+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or media roles.
Proven ability to secure earned media coverage and manage journalist relationships effectively.
Strong writing and editing skills with a clear, concise, and professional style.
Experience supporting launches, announcements, or communications campaigns.
Comfort operating in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and tight timelines.
Comfort using AI tools and willingness to learn emerging AI workflows to improve productivity, strengthen research and writing processes, and support high-quality execution responsibly.
Experience in tech, startups, marketplaces, logistics, or consumer services.
Experience supporting founders or executive spokespeople.
Familiarity with crisis communications, issue management, and reputation protection.
Strong understanding of what makes stories newsworthy and how to package proof points effectively.
Familiarity with tools and systems such as Slack, Google Workspace, ChatGPT, ClickUp, Hubstaff, media databases, monitoring tools, and other role-relevant platforms.
