Inventory Control Specialist

Role Overview

• Count physical stock at location in the warehouse due to discrepancies and established inventory row counting practices
• May require counts of all alternative product locations if warehouse quantity does not match system count
• At location, verifies actual quantity, sku numbers, product, and location labeling
• Will row count all locations at least once a year to verify accuracy observing inventory accounting guidelines
• Support the inventory management of merchant and vendor samples by physically receiving, stowing, picking and delivering
• Audits receipts, putaways, show prep, show returns inventory guidelines
• Perform exit audits of stock leaving the warehouse area
• Verify manifest quantities, descriptions, and locations match actual product
• Respond to stock/location questions and Warehouse Specialist problems, i.e., mixed SKUs or mis-ID's, merchant and vendor customer service

Requirements

• A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of training and experience
• A minimum of three years of inventory experience or previous work in an analytical position
• Prior equipment operations and physical inventory experience
• A working knowledge of spreadsheets and database programs, Excel, Access, and Microsoft Office experience, including the development of databases, to include importing and exporting information
• Familiarity with the computerized Inventory Management System and Returns Facility Operations to research problems
