Role Overview
- Design, implement, and maintain embedded firmware for real-time motor control, sensing, and system monitoring
- Debug complex system-level issues where root cause may span software, firmware, hardware, or component behavior
- Act as a technical bridge between hardware and software, collaborating closely with EEs, controls, motion planning, and systems engineers
- Advise leadership on technical decisions and strategy
- Mentor and advise other engineers
Requirements
- 5+ years working in complex environments
- Strong electrical engineering mindset
- Experience with embedded firmware for motor control, sensing, and system monitoring
- Experience with hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and DMMs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
