Analyze and reconcile AP/AR aging and vendor ledgers
Post month-end journal entries and accruals
Close month-end books and bank transactions
Review U.S. payroll and sales commission data
Manage state sales & use tax filings
Prepare monthly financial reports and banking requirements
Follow up on open orders and liaise with U.S. sales reps and vendors
Requirements
5–8 years accounting experience, ideally handling U.S. books or under IFRS
Degree in Accounting required; CPA is highly preferred
Strong English communication: Can explain accounting concepts clearly and concisely over email or VOIP
Detail-obsessed: Can catch discrepancies others miss
Self-directed and accountable — owns mistakes, fixes them, learns fast
Comfortable taking ownership of processes and mentoring junior team members as the role expands
Friendly, drama-free team player who enjoys remote collaboration
Nice-to-Have: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central; Prior experience working with U.S. entities or accounting teams; Strong Excel modeling and reconciliation skills; Has led or supervised accounting teams or processes, such as month-end close or audit preparation
