About this role
Role Overview
Build and execute outbound lead generation campaigns across multiple channels (email, LinkedIn, phone, events)
Design and implement AI-powered automation to scale prospecting efforts while maintaining quality
Research and identify target accounts and key decision-makers
Craft personalized outreach sequences that resonate with mission-focused prospects
Qualify leads based on defined criteria and book initial discovery meetings for the sales team
Maintain accurate pipeline data in Salesforce and track campaign performance metrics
Experiment with new channels, messaging, and tools to continuously improve conversion rates
Collaborate with sales and marketing to refine lead qualification criteria and messaging based on what converts
Requirements
2-3 years of experience in lead generation, sales development, or business development
Experience selling to or working with non-profits, government, or mission-driven organizations
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight and take full ownership of results
Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to automate workflows and scale efforts
Strong written communication skills for crafting compelling outreach
Comfort with CRM systems (Salesforce experience a plus) and lead generation tools
Data-driven mindset — you make decisions based on metrics and continuously optimize based on results
Proven track record of hitting or exceeding lead generation or pipeline targets
US work authorization required.
