Role Overview
- Provide multiplatform content and reports for all MétéoMédia platforms (social media, app and website, television).
- Gather information, verify sources, and produce engaging content.
- Establish and maintain ongoing relationships with various sources in the field.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field;
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in multiplatform journalism or the equivalent (you will be asked to provide examples of your work and/or complete a selection test);
- Editing experience (Premiere Pro an asset); strong writing skills;
- Knowledge of and curiosity about video production techniques;
- Live broadcasting experience an asset;
- Excellent editorial judgment;
- Possess a solid network of contacts and enjoy conducting journalistic research;
- Knowledge of meteorology, environment, and science an asset;
- Flexible schedule;
- Bilingual (French and English required);
- Valid driver's license.
