Checking and verifying cost accounting, account payable records
Prepares invoices and vouchers
Types, files, posts ledger and general journal entries
Balances accounts payable and accounts receivable records
Uses office-automated systems to input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries
May reconcile difficult accounts
May maintain a complete and systematic set of transactions in a specific phase of accounting
Produce invoices send them out, and file
Test revenue recognition per project each month
Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
Reconciliation of accounts
Monitoring of customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
Maintain accounts receivable customer files with backup for invoices
Follow established procedures for processing receipts
Promptly investigate and resolve customer queries
Process adjustments

High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 4 years of related experience (Accounts Payable/transactional accounting)
Organized and detail oriented
Able to interact with various levels of management and have excellent customer service
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
Able to work well in a team-based environment
Able to learn new software and conduct new tasks as required
