Collaborate with cross functional teams including stakeholders, data analytics, insurance/state bureaus and development to determine best solution for capability enablement.
Responsible implementing the product vision, roadmap and prioritizing the product backlog to ensure it is meeting the objectives and delivering value to the stakeholders.
Refine product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
Focus on the product's needs and objectives based on stakeholder and development team inputs.
Serve as the primary contact for the product and processes surrounding the product.
Involve in the development stages of a product including planning, development, test and deployment.
Ensure a consistent methodology in design and implementation of a capability though product evaluation and inspection. (i.e. user experience design).
Anticipate business needs and routinely guide business on designs and/or solutions to ensure insurance product and process can be enabled with both speed to market and ease of implementation.
The ability to document business requirements and process workflows when needed.
Requirements
Exceptional Communication (Oral, Written, and Presentation) skills amplified by a “Get it Done” attitude supported through the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment.
High degree of organization, individual initiative, personal accountability and comfort in working in a high paced delivery environment and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
Proactive, self-starter with the balance of technical knowledge and insurance business acumen is required.
Established background in launching software or services in partnership with development teams and high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, understanding of Agile principles is a plus.
3+ years of experience in product management/product owner and/or development or relevant experience.
Experience in product management, product ownership and/or development or relevant experience is a plus.
