Leads in the analysis of data activities and engagement across the assigned organization in support of strategic objectives, in collaboration with leadership
Develops reporting, analytics, metrics and key performance indicators while also providing in-depth analysis and recommendations for improving/enhancing line of business performance
Serves as a strategic thought-leader; bridging the gap between business processes and data analytics solutions
Identifies data sources; manage large amounts of data; merge data sources; ensure consistency of datasets; create visualizations to aid in understanding data; build mathematical models using the data
Provides valuable, innovative, data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize business performance, drive strategic initiatives, and solve complex business problems
Works with diverse data sets, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and makes a significant impact on the organization’s success
Directs engagements with minimal supervisory oversight

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Operations Research, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related quantitative fields/similar discipline/background
5+ years of experience in Asset-Backed Finance, Securitization, Asset Portfolio Management, or Collateral Analytics in one or more of the following asset classes, including auto loans, credit cards, timeshare, and consumer loans
Proficiencies in data analysis, tools, and languages such as: Excel (VBA), Microsoft Power BI, SQL, R, SAS, Snowflake, loan servicing platforms, inventory management software and databases; AWS SageMaker, Dataiku, or python experience a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify data discrepancies and data integrity issues; can write complex SQL queries against a variety of data sources and perform advanced data discovery
Exceptional organization and documentation capabilities for managing multi-asset datasets and ability to effectively communicate and present technical results and their business impact
Effective communication skills to collaborate across various deal teams and internal partners
