About this role
Role Overview
- Preparing and submitting purchase orders on a daily basis to vendor suppliers.
- Making purchasing and order fulfillment decisions with a daily goal to achieve a 100% fill rate.
- Assuring the timely processing of sales order fulfillment based on daily company order activity.
- Working with sales and customer service departments to ensure customer orders are accurately entered, and placed in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Providing troubleshooting of purchasing issues to other company departments.
- Using ERP to compile data and analyze purchasing patterns.
- Negotiating pricing, transportation and payment terms with vendors.
- Performing other duties and tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- 2 years of prior Purchasing experience.
- Experience within a retail or manufacturing business is preferred.
- NetSuite ERP experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
