complete plant surveys, bulk sampling of building materials and wastes, assessment of a broad range of conditions related to heavy manufacturing equipment, structures and facilities and ancillary processes, and support a broad range of projects in the industrial manufacturing sector
assist with reports for projects completed using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other digital programs/tools as well as scoping projects and preparing proposals with senior staff members
Assess, address and develop plans to achieve and maintain compliance with federal and state environmental regulations related to solid and hazardous waste, general plant environmental compliance, including RCRA, TSCA and state waste and water regulations.
Prepare environmental compliance reports in accordance with federal and state regulations.
Conduct inspections and audits, accurately documenting conditions and assessing compliance requirements.
Develop and implement waste management plans.
Develop plans for environmental sampling and laboratory analysis to achieve characterization of solid and hazardous waste in accordance with environmental regulations.
Support and/or lead environmental regulatory compliance aspects of manufacturing plant initiatives.
Compare field observations with environmental regulatory compliance requirements and develop recommendations.
