Develop and institutionalize an enterprise-wide global category sourcing strategy for the MRO spend $200M in Mars, ensuring E2E capabilities are defined/developed and sourced to deliver 3–5-year pipeline of value creation, innovation and growth requirements X-SEG and X-REG
Accountable, with the regional teams to deliver the value creation for the MRO category of spend, in terms of P&L impact, cost avoidance, cash and contribution to the productivity programs of each Segment
Manage the relationships internally with X-SEG SUPPLY to develop strategies that not only deliver savings but also drive innovation through excellence in category management
Create and maintain partnership with the key global stakeholders, region commercial heads, region category directors and X-SEG X-functional leaders ensuring alignment with the long-term business strategies as well as annual operating plans
Responsible for the relationships with global & critical regional suppliers to drive SRM for delivery of evolving quality and cost improvement as well as develop supplier enabled innovations & continuous improvement
Develop Category insights & benchmark, cross pollenate best practices within MGS Commercial & Supply across segments ensuring knowledge mgmt. & best practices are fully leveraged X-SEG within Americas
Develop expert skill level in MSSM and sourcing strategy development including hyper-collaboration internally and externally to unlock business strategies that fill pipeline expectations and deliver ASP
Ensure the supplier base is continuously optimized according to the category management strategies to enable the innovation, growth, and ASP delivery
Accountable to drive regional compliance & ensure all governance according to the Mars standards
Enable and deliver safety, Q&FS and sustainability results in partnership with X-SEG Supply and MGS.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Economics, Science, or Supply Chain is preferred
MRO expertise is essential — proven experience, knowledge, and capability within the MRO category is required
Minimum 6+ years of global or regional MRO sourcing experience, with strong supplier capability knowledge and end-to-end supply chain understanding
Demonstrated success in roles of similar scope and complexity; prior people management experience leading high-performing teams
Strong leadership, change management, and project management skills
Proven ability to make sound decisions in complex or ambiguous environments; track record of building strong internal stakeholder and supplier partnerships
Experience working cross-regionally and in multicultural environments.
