Act as the primary point of contact for financial data integrity and internal controls
Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the accounting function
Manage revenue & AR Aging process, along with collection oversight weekly
Oversee and mentor a third-party bookkeeping and billing offshore team of three dedicated resources
Respond to requests from cross-functional teams, including pulling reports and participating in process improvements
Ensure transparency, collaborate with external auditors and prepare audit-ready documentation
Drive the monthly financial close process within 5 business days
Manage AP workflow and monitor corporate expense usage/reconciliations weekly
Review and approve customer contracts to ensure deal terms and fees are billed and processed correctly

Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance and CPA or relevant professional certifications preferred
Experience: 5 years of extensive, hands-on accounting experience, including consolidation
Leadership Experience: 5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role, with a proven track record of managing direct reports or external vendors/offshore teams
Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO), proficiency in Excel, G-Sheets (GoogleSuite), bill.com, Divvy and Numeric (accounting tasks and close management), or similar tools
Power Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, project management abilities, and a proven track record of working independently and collaboratively. Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
