Own the development and improvement of software tools, system models, and design load calculation methods
Mentor others while creating and maintaining user interfaces, training material, and user guides
Define, execute, and review validation plans, ensuring model credibility and best practices
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Civil engineering, Systems Engineering or similar field with Renewable Energy emphasis preferred
7+ years of experience with multi-body simulation codes (e.g., Simpack, ADAMS, openFAST)
Strong programming skills in Python, Matlab, or similar
Proven experience owning wind turbine system simulation and modeling work
Solid understanding of wind turbine operation, control strategies, operability, and validation
Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills
Experience leading teams or projects; familiar with SCRUM/Agile
