Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership to shape and influence future roadmaps, product architectures, technology investments, partnerships, and product plans.
Engage in and support all aspects of the product life cycle management.
Collaborate with cross-functional team members to identify electronics system features, functions, and requirements.
Provide technical oversight and management of ODM and JDM supplier relationships and projects.
Create initial prototypes and concept models of electronics systems with an eye towards practicality and manufacturing feasibility.
Stay abreast of new technologies relevant to our industry and implement them when feasible.

BSEE or similar with 10+ years of experience managing teams developing novel electronic solutions.
Interest and/or experience in transportation/small vehicle design.
Experience with vehicle/motor control systems.
Experience with positioning systems (GPS, Bluetooth positioning, UWB, dead reckoning) and developing them to best in class accuracy.
Experience with optics, camera, vision systems that perform real-time object identification using machine learning algorithms.
Experience developing battery-powered, outdoor systems that demonstrate best in class safety.
Experience managing globally distributed teams and navigating cross-cultural communication effectively.
