Provide a high level of technical expertise to ensure the uptime and maintenance of critical networking systems.
Take ownership of highly complex network issues and ensure they are resolved and/or successfully documented.
Accept ownership through to the resolution of issues escalated by other Network Engineers.
Create training and mentoring opportunities for other engineers.
Involve in technology, tool, process, and training improvements for the team.
Troubleshoot latency, packet loss, and poor performance; respond to DDoS attacks.
Identify and resolve switch and router hardware and software failures.
Plan and conduct complex maintenance to ensure standardization and uptime.
Manage Internet providers and connectivity.
Requirements
High School Diploma or regional equivalent required
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Computer Science or Network Engineering. At the manager’s discretion, additional relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement
Minimum 12
14 years of recent experience with network design and build-out of LAN/WANs and/or large-scale network retrofits and remediations
Expert-level experience with Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)
