Responsible for the overall direction, coordination of training, and evaluation of warehouse employees including: interviewing, hiring and training employees;
Planning, assigning and directing work;
Appraising performance;
Rewarding and disciplining employees;
Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Develop and implement improved methods of materials handling, stock control and packaging to promote efficiency, service, and reduced costs.
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
Three to five years related experience and/or training;
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid driver's license.
Ability obtain and maintain forklift certification.
Product and application knowledge, electrical product materials handling experience, and a background in wholesale electrical distribution are strongly recommended.
