Preparing and/or reviewing EPC RFP packages and associated technical specifications
Evaluating EPC proposals to assist selection of preferred EPC contractors
Providing technical support during negotiations of EPC contract
Preparing or reviewing specifications such as main power transformers, switchgear, and other electrical equipment
Reviewing and providing technical commentary on EPC contractor’s electrical engineering design drawing packages and supporting calculations: Simple and combined cycle electrical system design packages, Renewable low-voltage (both DC and AC) systems, AC collection system for solar and batteries, Collector substation and interconnecting substation expansion, Gen-tie transmission

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
5+ years of experience in electrical engineering design of utility-scale power/storage projects
Experience in power projects as part of EPC team or Owner’s Engineer is a plus
Auxiliary power system design experience (thermal power generation, preferably gas-fired combined cycle, is a plus)
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Solid interpersonal skills and ability to work with and guide others.
