Design experiments, test hypotheses, and build models.
Conduct data analysis and moderately complex algorithm.
Monitor and maintain production models for accuracy and identify model drifts.
Work with and alongside business analysts by suggesting other products.
Assist in modeling and framing business scenarios that are meaningful and which impact critical business processes and/or decisions.
Collaborate with Institute subject matter experts to select the relevant sources of information.
Recommend ongoing improvements to methods and algorithms that lead to findings, including new information.
Provide on-going tracking and monitoring of performance of decision systems and statistical models.
Communicate analysis and decisions to high-level stakeholders and executives in verbal, visual, and written formats.
Collaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts, and decision makers to develop success criteria and optimize new solutions, features, policies, and models.
Perform any other duties as required to ensure Health Plan operations and department business needs are successful.
Requirements
Less than twelve (12) months of experience in analytics, data science, and business intelligence
Experience in developing algorithms, predictive analytics, or statistical models is required
Experience in analyzing large data sets that have complex designs that are unstructured, structured, and semi-structured is also required
Experience in the use of statistical packages is required
Experience in the areas of medical or health services is preferred
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or any non-related field along with a certification in data science from an accredited institution is required
