General Duty Radiation Therapist

Role Overview

• Provides clinical services and participates in clinical instruction of radiation therapy students, radiation oncology residents and other staff/students
• Assesses and educates patients and their families
• Available to work 0600 – 1800, on all operational days
• The assignment includes treatment and/or simulation

Requirements

• Current Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technology (CAMRT) registration
• Certificate for CPR – BLS Provider
• Satisfactory Employment Record
• Must be able to legally work in Canada
• Ability to perform tasks accurately and reliably
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuing education and professional development

• Demonstrate effective organizational skills; ability to organize and prioritize work
