Research, test, and pilot new metrics collection system
Define, select, implement and support a new configuration management system
Work closely with development staff and train them on proprietary information
Prototype reusable patterns and tools then coach developers
Assist development teams in implementing versioning and archiving of software artifacts
Works with Configuration Management team to align organization and industry compliance best practices
Develop automation of manual activities in accordance with DevOps principles
Define and implement standard practices around cloud platform security
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or better in Computer Science or related field
Five (5) years of experience in DevOps, systems administration, or relevant technical role
Five (5) years of experience working with many of the following technologies or databases: Windows / Linux Administration, AWS & AWSCLI, SaltStack, Docker, MS SQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Splunk
Ability to explain ideas/concepts outside developer wheelhouse simply and effectively
Demonstrated work experience managing complex infrastructure projects with minimal supervision
Works well with group inside and outside of defined team
