Establish and maintain respectful, long-term relationships with Indigenous leaders, communities, and partner organizations across Quebec and Atlantic Canada.
Represent Dexterra at community events, industry meetings, and strategic gatherings.
Collaborate with sales, operations, legal, and other teams to support proposals, bids, and business development initiatives.
Contribute to the development and implementation of Indigenous engagement strategies and initiatives.
Prepare and deliver presentations, coordinate agreements, and ensure compliance with legal and financial obligations.
Support training for Indigenous awareness and contribute to our PAIR certification efforts with the CCIB.
Requirements
Bilingual in English and French required.
3 to 5+ years of experience in Indigenous community relations, business development, or a related role.
Strong understanding of Indigenous cultures, realities, and protocols.
Indigenous candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Post-secondary education or relevant experience in Indigenous studies, social sciences, communications, or a related field.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships, both internally and externally.
Solid skills in contract drafting and management, negotiations, financial reporting, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Strong commitment to quality and a positive, collaborative attitude.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently (40–50%) across Quebec and the Atlantic provinces.
