About this role
Role Overview
Support fully automated Storage and Retrieval System (AS/RS)
Maximize system uptime through advanced troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement of automation and control systems.
Diagnose and resolve automation faults involving AGVs, cranes, conveyors, and material handling equipment.
Perform PLC troubleshooting and minor logic modifications (Allen Bradley / Siemens).
Maintain and calibrate sensors, encoders, photo-eyes, proximity switches, safety devices, and I/O modules.
Troubleshoot communication issues across industrial networks such as EtherNet/IP and Profinet.
Analyze system performance data and recommend improvements that reduce downtime.
Support preventive maintenance planning and documentation through CMMS.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related field.
2–4 years of experience in industrial maintenance, automation engineering, or controls support.
Strong understanding of industrial automation, PLC logic flow, sensors, and motion components.
Ability to interpret electrical schematics, controls diagrams, mechanical drawings, and ladder logic.
Mechanical aptitude with experience in automated cranes, conveyors, robotics, AGVs, or similar systems.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V safely.
Ability to work at heights and in elevated crane service areas.
Capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs.
