The Occupational Therapy Assistant works in collaboration with unit staff and the inter-disciplinary treatment team to plan, coordinate and implement the group programming in order to meet the treatment needs of the patients.
Collaborates with the treating physician and interdisciplinary treatment team in determining the appropriate evaluations needed for the patient.
Provides individual treatment as needed.
Requirements
Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Experience in Behavioral Health or with a specific age population (geriatrics, pediatrics)
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work with others in a collaborative manner.
Creative and flexible.
