Occupational Therapy Assistant, FT, Evenings

Role Overview

• The Occupational Therapy Assistant works in collaboration with unit staff and the inter-disciplinary treatment team to plan, coordinate and implement the group programming in order to meet the treatment needs of the patients.
• Collaborates with the treating physician and interdisciplinary treatment team in determining the appropriate evaluations needed for the patient.
• Provides individual treatment as needed.

Requirements

• Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Experience in Behavioral Health or with a specific age population (geriatrics, pediatrics)
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work with others in a collaborative manner.
• Creative and flexible.
