Analyze large, complex datasets to inform key business decisions and shape Zillow’s growth strategy
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve listing coverage and user experience
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to develop and execute long-term customer strategies
Apply advanced analytics techniques (e.g., clustering, propensity modeling, causal inference) to understand customer behavior
Build compelling data stories and visualizations to influence decision-makers
Design, analyze, and interpret A/B experiments to drive product improvements
Identify, track, and report on business-critical metrics to measure impact
Collaborate with Data Scientists to enhance data science infrastructure, including ETLs, dashboards, and experimentation platforms

5+ years of experience as a data scientist working with large, complex datasets (e.g., clickstream data)
Strong knowledge of statistical concepts, measurement methods, A/B testing, and causal inference
Mastery of SQL, Excel, and either Python or R; experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Databricks
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills (written, verbal, and visual)
Keen understanding and experience with online products
Deep understanding of the US residential real estate market (Nice to have)
