Role Overview
- Prepare ad hoc and recurring reports and analyses of trade-related data
- Monitor changes to trade compliance regulations and highlight implications for Nokia
- Perform and improve audits of import and export filings to ensure adherence to Nokia’s trade compliance operating procedures (US and Canada)
- Suggest and assist with the implementation of process improvements related to trade compliance activities
- Provide instructions to customs brokers, freight forwarders, and 3rd party compliance providers
- Provide instructions and guidance to internal stakeholders on trade compliance matters
- Prepare standard operating procedures, desktop procedures, manuals and other trade compliance-related documentation
- Commit to continuously enhancing skillset
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on trade compliance experience
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics
- Strong Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Working knowledge of US and Canadian import and export regulations
- Self-starter who can work independently and desires to work in a dynamic and changing environment
- Communication, writing and interpersonal skills
It would be nice if you also had:
- US customs brokerage license
- Certified Customs Specialist certification (US and/or Canada)
- Bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese
