Maintain the security and efficiency of Record Management processes
Oversee the storing of information and files in the database
Assist in processing incoming information, including sorting and indexing materials for integration into systems or storage areas
Assemble, analyze and interpret information to develop actionable steps that will improve processes and optimize results in the Information Governance (IG) Records Department
Follow IG Procedures in the disposition of Records
Maintain retention schedules and develop strategies for data management
Train new staff and periodically re-train existing staff on departmental processes and procedures, including providing guidance and technical assistance
Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents
Special projects and duties as assigned
Requirements
A bachelor's degree
Strong initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
Ability to multi-task & prioritize work accordingly
Intermediate keyboarding skills (40 accurate words per minute or greater)
Excellent organizational skills
Effective oral communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with firm personnel at all levels with a high degree of professionalism
Must have communication, time management, multitasking, and analytical skills
Strong computer and database skills
A minimum of four (4) years of equivalent work experience in an active records environment is preferred
Previous experience with a law firm preferred
