Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations for portfolio companies.
Interpret and apply U.S. tax code sections related to partnerships and other investment structures.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of private equity portfolio company structures, including partnerships, corporations, and various investment vehicles.
Advise on tax-related intricacies of partnership structures, allocations, and distributions.
Provide consulting and tax modeling for mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and equity transactions.
Collaborate with deal teams to assess tax implications and structure transactions efficiently.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Law; Masters in Tax/LLM, preferred
7+ years of recent public accounting firm experience working with passthrough entities and dealing with Subchapter K reporting matters, including managing multiple projects and customer engagements
Experience developing team members, assigning projects, and managing workflow
CPA certification, required
Leadership and project/team management skills
Excellent communication and networking acumen
Ability to manage and grow strong customer relationships
Experience with tax software and technology
