About this role
Role Overview
Responsible for the accounting and financial operations of the company, including the production of weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports.
Maintenance of accounting records, and development of policies and procedures to facilitate all accounting-related functions.
Ensure reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
Oversee the flow of all financial information from the initial transaction through completed financial statements.
Oversee core accounting operations and financial reporting while partnering with leadership to support a growing organization.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. A CPA or an MBA is strongly preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial management position, with a preference for experience in a privately held company.
Experience in an HOA environment, standard costs, and basic variance analysis is strongly preferred.
Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
Excellent leadership, team building, and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Must be well organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and possess a strong work ethic.
Must have a high energy level and be a self-starter.
High level of adaptability to pivot and meet changing priorities.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Technical savvy – interest in learning and implementing new technology.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
